My name is Erin Finholm. I currently am a student at Grand Valley State University working towards a BFA Degree in Graphic Design. I have an interest in brand identity, UX/UI, and packaging design.

I first became interested in becoming a graphic designer during my high school yearbook class. After winning a school design contest, I was asked to design the yearbook cover as well as page layouts. This is when it all began for me. I fell in love with the aspect of problem-solving when creating each new design. Working on the yearbook required strict deadlines. The funny thing was…it wasn’t work to me, because I loved what I was doing. Because of this experience, I truly believe I discovered what I wanted to do quite early on. Still to this day, my dad’s words have stuck with me, “If you do something you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
